"Days of Our Lives"

Yesterday was a "fun" day. Pam came over after jury duty, and we went out and got some loose ends tied up. We went to the DMV and spent over an hour waiting for me to get my Colorado driver's license. Then we went to the county courthouse and spent another hour waiting for me to get my handicap plates and for Pam to do some business. From there, we went to Wal-Mart to get some groceries and odds and ends. Then we proceeded to King Soopers to get our perishable groceries and my prescription. Then we proceeded to go home and unload the groceries before we went our to dinner. As we got to the intersection of the street where I live, there was a 4-car accident with one pickup on its roof and another pickup completely stove in on the front end. Two other cars had been struck in the melee. Pam tried to get thru the intersection to get in to my parking lot, but a witness was parked right in front of us and a firetruck was trying to get by. Eventually the fireman had the witness move her car so we could get out of the way as several pieces of emergency equipment soon showed up. After we got all our groceries unloaded and put away at both houses, we went to the Star of India for dinner. It was my first experience with India food. It was okay, but I still prefer meatloaf and mashed potato!! Pam and I had a great day of bonding thanks to a quick trial.
