Wow....we may not have the snow and cold that Maine and Michigan has, but I bet we have more wind than either of them. It is always windy before a storm, and today is no exception. The wind has been blowing 30-40 mph with gusts up to 60-65 mph. We have snow forecast for tonight and tomorrow; especially up in the mountains.
Thought I'd share my collection of wood carvings I've started. So far I have an elephant, a rhinocerous, and a moose. They look quite nice on my room divider wall with the water jugs. I got the moose at a craft fair and the other carvings came from Goodwill. The water jugs are all Aztec brown and the moose is brown wood. The elephant is golden teakwood and the rhino is a dark brown lighter wood. The lightning was bad in the kitchen so they don't really look as nice as they really are. I'm going to continue to keep my eyes open for other jungle animal carvings. My Cherished Teddies shelves are filled and running over onto the fireplace mantle, so I decided to start a different collection. At least I don't have to buy food or put them through college!!!

Very nice....however, if you have "lightning" in your kitchen, I think you might want to find a new apartment or at the very least, talk to your landlord!!
Sorry....I flunked out of "perfection" school!!! I'll try to do better.

Was all in fun....no need to get sarcastic. I'm sure if I hadn't picked up on that, someone else would have!
I believe my response was also in fun, and not sarcastic! Funny thing about what happens when you put letters on paper to form words as opposed to saying the same letters verbally. Much easier to pick up on phonetic interpretation.

I love your wooden animals! I will keep my eye out for other animals, too! Keep me posted when you get a new one, so I don't get the same ones. They are beautiful! Love Ya Barbara
