Today was the annual Taste of Fort Collins Festival in Old Town; and Pam, Rob, Siena and I spent most of the afternoon there enjoying all the crafts, foods, live bands, and many people. Rob and I took several pictures as this was my first time going and we both did a blog of our experiences. Siena was a little angel...and it was her first festival, also. It was a gorgeous day,

considering the weather we had had all week. I never saw so many baby strollers, babies, and pregnant women in my life. Guess Fort Collins is a good place to "go forth and multiply". Pam and I bought some samples of chocolate syrups and Rob bought a bottle of hot sauce. Pam and I split a turkey/swiss cheese/ fresh spinach crepe and then she got some India food and I got two barbecued chicken legs. We both figured the diet went out the minute we entered the place.

This was the wine sample table where for $10 you could get a wine glass and 4 samples of wine- as you finished each sample you could go back for a different one. Unfortunately, before Pam could get back for her 4th sample....the wine glass and my digital camera both slid off the handle of the stroller onto the pavement. I rescued the camera...can't say as much for the wine glass. All three of us wondered why a place like that with so many kids would even consider having something like a glass wine glass...why not paper cups or something that wouldn't break? Rob and a lady from one of the booths spent several minutes trying to clean up as much of the glass as they could as there were kids everywhere. Pam had set her glass in a cup holder on the handle of the stroller and I had set my camera there for a second to get my water bottle. Somehow, when Pam pulled the baby's backpack out from under the stroller...everything went to the ground.

Around 4 pm, the skies started to darken and we could hear thunder in the background. After saying to good-bye to some of Rob's friends, we moseyed back in the direction of the parking garage. We felt a few raindrops along the way, but no real rain. It still isn't raining - which is great after all the rain we have had this past week. It was a wonderful day for all of us.

Good, I'm glad you had a good time. Maybe you should have waited on the water bottle 'til Pam was done getting the backpack and then she could have watched things while you got your water bottle. You gotta be a team player, Ma. Maybe the police would have thought she was OUI with a baby stroller. LOL Ha ha ha just jiving ya! Barbara
Can you email me these pictures so I can get full-resolution versions to print?
