In all my holiday festivities, I totally forgot to mention the decorations in my little abode. Somewhere last week in between all the other things I was involved in, I found time to put up a few Xmas decorations of my own.
When I moved here from Maine, I left most of my decorations behind as they weren't considered necessary to take up space. I have replaced a few things - enough to tastefully decorate the space I have. I am especially happy with my nativity set which I got at Goodwill for $2.00! I got a few things from Pam and a few cherished items came with me like the boys picture frames, my Xmas card holder, and a bowl of red glass ornaments on top of my TV. My table centerpiece is gorgeous and I had it specially made at Michaels on a 50% off sale day last week. I am a snowman freak as you probably can see....no Santas in my home. I do have a few more pictures which I will put on another day. I have to go out this afternoon and get a few items to complete the project I'm working on for Xmas gifts. Then I expect to be busy as one of Santa's elfs as most of us are at this season of the year.
