YES....2009 has started off very well. My new emphysema meds have made my breathing easier; except for a couple of days with hurricane winds, the weather has been great; and another member has been added to the Brann/Migliore family. My newest grand daughter: Siena Colette Migliore came into the world on January 6th and now that makes 7 grandchildren for me. Of course, that increases the January "birthday club" to 8 for me, personally, plus more than that for some others in the family. So far, Pam and Rob have had only minor expected problems with Siena and even their cats seem blase about the newest member of the Migliore household. I have been helping out with housework - as was expected - and Arlene has also been helping out when she can. She already has a full-time childcare job plus she is very active in her church. Since I have Pam's car right now, I will be helping out with appointments Pam has upcoming this next week and whatever else I can do to help. Daddy will probably be returning to work soon, so the rest of January I expect I will be spending a lot of time at Pam's house. Siena is definitely a Daddy's girl - she has his eyes, as the pictures indicate. Her pictures are exactly like Pam's baby pictures were at that age, however. She seems to be bonding well with both parents, but Rob is a very glowing first-time Dad. I'm sure Pam and Rob will be sending out pictures and data as they get time, but for now - let me announce.....she is the prettiest baby in COLORADO!!!
