"It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood......"- once again, Mother Nature has her seasons mixed up. A family member said...."it's your turn to get the winter weather...we"ve had our share". No one deserves snow in the middle of April! Right now we are getting snow/hail/rain mix with even thunderstorms in parts of the state. It was a rainy/hail mix all day yesterday and is supposed to continue until Sunday. I keep reminding myself that our summer lasts until November....when it gets here.
Oh,well; it gave me a day to do some deep-cleaning. My kitchen has never looked so bright and sparkling! I took everything off the counter tops and washed the counters in a bleach solution. Then I tackled the microwave and the refrigerator. Surprising how messy a kitchen can get...even though only one person lives here. I did the bedroom earlier this week and bagged up a ton of stuff in the apartment and in my storage unit and took it to Goodwill. Why do people accumulate "stuff" that is unworn, no longer fits, has broken parts, etc? Guess that is why we have closets and cubbyholes. All I have left to do now is iron my spring/summer clothes and I'm good to go. Now if the weather would just cooperate!!!

It will be gone before you know it and it's good that you are getting these things done now. When it becomes nice again, you can get out and do the things that you want to do! ENJOY!!!! You'll be alright!
