Summertime...for one day!!

The temperature is currently 82 degrees and climbing!! Tomorrow we are supposed to wake up to 40 degrees and snow...crazy,huh? Yesterday Pam and I took the bus down to Front Range Community College for a dry run. It was my first time riding a public bus and can be hectic if you miss a transfer station or get on the wrong bus....or,like us, get off at the wrong stop. FRCC is a straight short from my street intersection to the campus, yet the bus ride involves a transfer from one bus to another and goes in a round-about way to get there. I also have to be careful to get on the bus on the right side of the street as some destinations go right and some go left. There are two bus stops out here in front of the apartment...one on each side of the road...and it depends where I'm going which side I wait on. Confusing, but cost effective when you figure I can ride the bus as many times a day/week as I want to for $25 a year with no worries about gas prices, insurance, etc.

Once again, it seems I'm playing catch-up on my blog entries. I got my new knitting bag last week and it looks great. My knitting progress is going slowly as I've been doing a lot of scrap booking lately. Pam also got her bag last week so we now both have nice L.L.Bean totes for our knitting or whatever else we need them for. Mine may even become a bag for books if I enroll in FRCC this fall. I have to go down this week and register so they can see how much financial aid I'm due to get. Meanwhile, this weekend Pam and I are going to Estes Park for a spring crop of Creative Memory fun. Tomorrow I have loads of errands to do so will be on the road most of the day after I take Pam to work. Catch ya next week.
