Monday night was a very productive one for Pam and an enjoyable one for me. After work, Pam picked me up and we went out "shopping" and "yakking"....two things girls like to partake of. We went to the new Super Target so Pam could update her baby registry. She taught me how to scan items with a scanning gun as she selected them and how they went automatically onto the registry. In-store shoppers only have to go to the registry desk and get a print-out of the registry to see what items Pam/Rob have chosen for the baby. Out-of-town shoppers can just pull the registry up on line and shop. I had fun helping pick out little outfits and just watching Pam's face as she went through the baby section selecting things.
Then we went to Kohl's so Pam could get a few cold-weather outfits that would fit her for work. It is getting cold fast out here and Kohl's was having a great "buy one - get one free" sale which helped out on the financial end. After we had shopped til we dropped....we went to Hunan's Chinese Cuisine for dinner. We split a pineapple chicken entree with a vegetable egg roll for her and a cup of wanton soup for me.
I especially enjoy the times Pam and I spend together and this week Rob is away on a business trip, so it worked out great for both of us.
