Change Is Good

I still can't get over the rapid weather changes we have here in Colorado. Today it is 75 degrees out with a gentle breeze and gorgeous sunshine. Tomorrow the temperature isn't supposed to go above 38 degrees all day with snow! Southern Wyoming, which is about 45 minutes from here, is under a blizzard watch for tomorrow.

I saw and talked to my grandson in the U.P. of Michigan today.....first time I had "seen" him in over 7-8 years. ( We both have oovoo hookup now, so we can call each other over the computer and view each other through a web camera). He is a sports reporter for the local newspaper and was expounding on some of his picks for the March Madness fiasco. He also gave me the web site of the newspaper he writes for and I enjoyed reading a couple of articles he recommended. He has been a sports nut since before he entered school.

This morning I became a member of my local Baptist church. That is the first Baptist church I've been a member of in over 30 years, as I changed to a Congregationalist church when Pam was born because her father and family were members of that church. I have always had Baptist beliefs and am glad to have finally established a church home here in Colorado.

Our life is constant changes: Change the TV channel; change your clothes; change directions on the highway;etc. Change is good for all of us. The big change in most of our lives today is how we live due to the economy......this too will change someday, I hope.

Gonna change my computer web site as I need to check out Craig's List. See ya...if I don't change my mind!

Congratulations on finding a church where you can enjoy fellowship and can identify with in membership.

Congratulations on becoming a member of the church. Just a footnote: You always change your mind.
