The Ides of March

Well, the Ides of March have come and gone, and unlike Julias Caesar, I escaped death. Julias was assassinated in 44BC, after proclaiming he would be the leader of Rome for life. For me, the 15th of March was a lovely, sunny day here. Two days later, they turned the fountain on the lawn of the White House lawn green in honor of St.Patrick's Day. The Chicago River and the Pittsburg rivers are also turned green. Never figured out how that is done....maybe the AIG could explain it as they have all the "green" in the country today. I'll just relax with my cold and a good book, and wait for the next Ides to come in May.
