Good Morning - Maine???

Wow....I awoke this morning to a blanket of snow and a rugged day ahead. We are currently in the throes of a blizzard with temperatures in the teens and gale force winds. Parts of Colorado are shut off from the rest of the state due to numerous road closings. Cars are being abandoned everywhere. Fort Collins is forecast to get a total of 14" of snow by the time the storm ends tomorrow forenoon. DIA is shut down due to flight cancellations and most of the businesses are either closed or closing early. Sounds like Maine, doesn't it? It's hard to believe it was up to 75 degrees here at the beginning of the week. Guess it's time to put up the Christmas tree and wax the shovel. The pictures are fuzzy as the wind is blowing the snow by the windows. Note the amount of snow packed by wind inside my patio door.
Merry Christmas...

Welcome to the Front Range! Hugh temperature swings within a few hours! We made it home to Cheyenne safely.

As we approach Resurrection Sunday, let the snow remind you of the story in Matthew 28:2-3; “There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow.” NIV

Enjoy it. The water will be good for the state's water table and it is pretty. The big difference between you and me is yours will melt by the weekend. I'm sure you will be back in the 70's before you know it! Love Ya
