It is 5:30 am on a Sunday morning, and it is the best time of the day for me. The birds are chirping, the air is still and the temperature is a comfortable 70 degrees. After yesterday's high temperature of 97, this feels good. I've always relished the peace and quiet of the early morning hours when most people have yet to wake up and the noise of the city is stilled. Sasha loves to lay in the open patio door and listen to the birds and watch for squirrels. A faint train whistle towards the west tells me the morning freight train is coming...usually a 3-4 engine "job" which takes at least 10 minutes to cross Harmony between my street and Pam's. Somewhere up there in the sky, Pam is flying home from Chicago; and I will be picking her up later today so she can prepare for her next trip tomorrow morning to California. That is one thing I miss here in Fort Collins....no P-3s flying overhead...no planes at all as the nearest airport of any size is in Denver an hour away from here. Thus, I return to the peaceful morning God has given me to enjoy.
Peace!

Did you say MISS the P-3s flying overhead? That must have been a typo! LOL!
