Between an overdrawn checking account, a friend's father dying, calls to contact government agencies to see if I can have a funeral plan and a call to my son regarding an incoming hurricane....I have been on the phone most of the morning. It's been hectic, but I think I have gotten everything under control. Now I can enjoy my Cheerios and peaches.....fresh from Pam's peach tree. Rob picked all the peaches from the tree Saturday so they wouldn't drop on the ground and smash. It has been so hot here, my flowers out on my patio are not doing as well as I had expected...even with Miracle Gro. and plenty of watering.
Yesterday afternoon was "girl's day out"!! Pam took Arlene and I to get a pedicure...another FIRST for me. The best part for me was the massaging of the feet and legs. I didn't really get too excited about my nails being painted, but they came out nice....we even got flowers painted on our big toenails. Guess you could call us "flower people" now, huh?
It's time for me to get back to reading Dancing at the Harvest Moon by K.C.McKinnon. At the rate I'm going, I'll have to make another trip to the library real soon. Ta! Ta!

It sounds like 7 months in Colorado has given you a lifetime of new opportunities!
(And by the way, if you had been at the beach that day, you too would have been admiring the lifeguard!)
I saw the picture and he was pretty cool on the eyes!! I still prefer David Hasselhoff and can see him every week on America's Got Talent.
What?! No picture of your toe nails and the new pretty flower?
