Ever since I was a little girl in junior high school, I have wanted a new pea coat for winter. I had one in grade school but it was second-hand and wore out. Last Friday evening, Pam and I went to Kohl's to look at sweaters and winter coats. After 1/2 hour of Pam trying on sweaters and me trying on different colors and styles of coats, I chose this charcoal-gray pea coat. (looks lighter in the picture). I wanted one with a hood, but they had very few with hoods and they were the wrong size for me. It fits fairly well, but I'm going to set the buttons over a little so I can wear a sweater under it comfortably. It's my first wool coat/jacket so I should be quite comfortable with the cold here in Colorado. I want to get a hat/scarf/gloves set to go with it eventually. I have a white hat/gloves set but I'd rather have a brighter color like red or green......gray is a pretty neutral color that many colors will go with. Guess that's my big expense for this winter!!
