Well....this "bus thing" is growing on me! Saturday was a gorgeous day so Pam suggested I take the bus over to Harmony Road...which she lives off of....and get off at the bus stop that was close to her home. Of course, I got off at the wrong one of the three options I had, but walked back just a short ways to meet Pam. Then we took the foot path between Harmony and Pamela's street to her house. I can only use this approach to get to Pam's house until the snow comes, as the foot path isn't shoveled. It was pretty cool just the same!
While I was at Pam's house, she gave me a winter sweater for Sasha. I dreaded the thought of trying to put this thing on my cat, but Sasha surprised me. I guess she was happy to know Mama wasn't the only one who got a new coat for winter. She really didn't know what to do after she got it on, so she just laid down. I suspect one of these days when I put it on her, she'll go out on the patio and parade it around for the dog next door. Females can be vain you know!!
I'm off to plan my next excursion on the bus before snow hits!

Good for you on using the bus. I personally think that public transportation is an excellent way for senior citizens to get around (or anyone for that matter!). Sorry, but I don't really get the whole "kitty in the sweater thing". Apart from the fact that it is cute, why would she need to wear a sweater when she already has a "fur coat" on? Judging from previous blogs I've read, it sounds like Sasha is mostly an indoor cat, so I don't understand why she needs a sweater - just seems like it would be hot and uncomfortable for her. I'm also wondering why she is laying on the table in the picture?? Not really "comments", just my observations....
